They are now seeking a motivated IT Support Technician Apprentice to join their Central Services team. This is a Level 3 apprenticeship where youll develop hands-on skills in first-line support, system troubleshooting, and user support across multiple school sites. Youll learn on the jobanswering support tickets, installing and configuring software/hardware, and assisting with device deployments.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ICT systems, hardware, and peripherals (e.g. laptops, PCs, printers, and audio-visual equipment).
Monitor and respond to IT support requests via the ticketing system (e.g. Zendesk), prioritising tasks for timely resolution.
Support software installations, upgrades, and deployments across trust sites.
Assist in maintaining data security, including network security and antivirus measures
Identify and resolve common software and hardware issues.
Monitor system backups and assist with disaster recovery processes.
Gain experience managing Active Directory, user accounts, and permissions.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
A Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and Grade 5/C in English is required for the role
IT Qualification or Experience in office 365 / Cisco
Experience in customer service or technical support (e.g. part-time, volunteering, or school-based roles).
Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, or Cisco systems.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
