An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Design and Support Team Lead with proven experience in managing a team to join our UK Projects team. The role will be based in our Watford office within a busy department. This role involves contributing to the definition and continuous development of GF BFS’ (previously known as Uponor) processes and ensuring seamless rollout in specific fields such as Engineering services and Quotations. What will you be doing? Lead the Design and Technical Support teams within. Manage technical design project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all designs are completed within agreed upon timeframes. Coordinate seamless collaboration between customers, customer service and sales functions via Salesforce. Monitor and review KPIs, service data and reporting structures to ensure continuous improvement. Prepare reports and analysis on team activities. Regularly align with Head of Projects, Region Sales Manager and and Marketing. Provide active and timely support to customers and GF BFS employees in the office and in the field with technical requests. Ensure growth employees through individual selection of goals and targeted further training. What will you need? Strong technical knowledge and understanding of design principles and practices in a technical or engineering environment. Technical knowledge of building materials and products. Develop and ensure that quotation tools are accurate and up to date and support team members and TSM’s with any necessary training for development. Professional experience in Design service role. Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadline pressure.
