A well-regarded primary school within easy reach of Milton Keynes is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team from September 2025.
From playing board games to leading science experiments, from supporting learning to celebrating success – our Teaching Assistants are at the heart of our school community. You’ll be supporting children with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them engage with learning and build confidence day by day.

Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
* Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development both in and outside the classroom.
* Collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies to ensure consistent and effective provision.
* Assist in implementing EHCP strategies and individual support programmes.
* Help manage classroom routines, resources, and displays to enhance the learning environment.
* Take part in trips, lunchtime support, and wider school activities as part of your role.
Requirements:
* Proven experience supporting children with additional needs in a primary setting.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Calm, patient and adaptable with a nurturing, positive approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
* Genuine passion for supporting children to thrive and succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
