Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 per day Job Duties: 1. Delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers 2. Following lesson plans and ensuring a productive learning environment 3. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring student discipline 4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress 5. Collaborating with colleagues and school staff to support student development Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Relevant teaching experience - Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience in teaching or education Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to engage and motivate students - Strong classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management Working Conditions: - Work hours typically follow the school timetable - May require travel to different schools within the area - Interaction with students, colleagues, and parents on a daily basis - Adherence to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
