We are looking for a Trust LAS Specialist Registrar at ST3+ level to support a busy Trauma and Orthopaedic Department that consists of 20 Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants.
This is a 12-month fixed-term post commencing in August 2025.
Please note: This post requires some flexibility with working patterns and hours, but will average 40 hours per week including an admin session.
The appointee will be required to:
1. Assist in the supervision, teaching, training, and monitoring of junior doctors and medical students.
2. Have delegated responsibility for all patients under their Consultant/team's care, referring to the Consultant for issues beyond their authority or experience.
3. Maintain liaison with colleagues on duty immediately before and after their shift.
4. Ensure the Trauma service is managed promptly and effectively.
