Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a dedicated psychology graduate to join our client secondary school located in Bury. This position is set to start from September 2024, however an immediate start is possible.
* Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant position
* Immediate or September 2024 start, full-time
* Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
* Competitive daily pay rate
In this role, you will use your knowledge of SEMH and child development to support students who require additional support within mainstream education. You will be a positive role model to students, and you will build positive working relationships essential for providing effective personal and academic support. You will lead one-to-one interventions with students designed to encourage integration into the classroom and promote academic progress.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
* Two professional references covering the last two years of employment.
* Passion for supporting children and young people in education.
