Location: Plymouth (covering 7 sites) – Site-based role
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance

Lead the Delivery of High-Impact Projects An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of refurbishment and construction projects across seven sites in the Plymouth area.
This is a hands-on, site-based role managing a diverse portfolio of billable works, including the construction and refurbishment of medical centres, office buildings, aircraft hangars, and other complex facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with statutory and environmental standards.
The Role
You will take full cradle-to-grave responsibility for project delivery, working closely with supply chain partners, site managers, and local representatives to align priorities and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing projects from initial scope through to completion
Leading operational teams and supervising supply chain performance
Monitoring KPIs and performance indicators
Reviewing risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work
Managing costs, budgets, and commercial risk
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
Supporting carbon reduction and sustainability objectives
Resolving issues and complaints efficiently
Maintaining accurate project records and systemsThe role covers seven sites across the Plymouth area. You will be based from your nearest site - this is not a home-based position. Stonehouse Barracks is centrally located, so proximity to this area would be advantageous.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrable experience delivering cradle-to-grave project management within the construction industry
Experience supervising teams and managing stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and cost control capability
Experience implementing and overseeing safe systems of work
An HND (or equivalent) in Building/Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent industry experience
SMSTS (or equivalent management-level health & safety qualification)
Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word
A proactive, organised approach with strong problem-solving abilityYou will be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects consistently meet performance standards and exceed expectations.
