Here at ISS, as of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop their Sustainability resource aligned against a major Government contract
The client are a major UK Government organisation responsible for managing government work spaces, to provide a modern, effective and of course sustainable working facility for staff to enjoy
Here, working with the employer who are the FM provider, you will focus on Sustainability, especially Energy and Net Zero across their northern estate
With approx 40 sites in the region, organising your own diary you will complete site energy audits, and provide effective suggestions to the client around energy best practice. Beyond this, you will provide Sustainability expertise across Capital Projects, such as more energy efficient building systems being installed
Working with various stakeholders on the contract and from the client side you will play a key part in day to day Sustainability, acting as an expert around Energy and Net Zero, encouraging best practice and spotting opportunities for improved efficiencies
This is a fantastic role for a confident Sustainability professional looking to develop into a bigger role with general career progression
Actions will include:
* Drive and govern the delivery of the accounts Corporate Responsivity Action Plan & Sustainability Action Plan – lead the operations managers to establish, manage their plans, support operational improvement of the delivery of the sustainability agenda.
* Support customer with performance benchmarking of their estate (waste and energy) – based upon data made available, work with the Data Analyst and wider network.
* GGC Reporting – support the customer with their GGC quarterly reporting programme by acting as a programme lead and working with the Data Analyst.
* Lead on quarterly reporting against energy and waste reporting.
* Monitor performance against the Sustainability requirements of the Contract(s) – annually review the Schedule of Deliverables with the Leadership team. Ensure contract procedures for additional works are established.

* Ability to pass security vetting typical of government contracts
