Area Business Consultant | Remote, covering the North West region | Salary: From £27,000 + commission
As an Area Business Consultant, you’ll interact with potential and existing clients to create new business opportunities across diverse sectors, including apprenticeships, funded training, and commercial training. You’ll collaborate closely with your local team to meet enrolment targets and represent HIT Training Ltd at local events. The role will involve working from home, traveling to client sites, and engaging in networking opportunities in your area.
Responsibilities
* Actively prospect and identify new business leads.
* Research potential clients and new business opportunities within your region.
* Network with local partners and clients to uncover new business opportunities.
* Travel to meet potential clients and partners to explore new business prospects.
* Set up and lead meetings and presentations to convert potential clients.
* Track and manage new business opportunities using our CRM system.
* Collaborate with the local team to prioritize new business generation and support enrollment targets.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
* Achieve or surpass monthly new business targets through proactive outreach.
* Coordinate with area managers and internal teams to advance new business leads.
* Collect and share client feedback and market insights with relevant departments.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a business development role.
* Experience in new business development and lead generation.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Natural problem solver who can take initiative and is self‑motivated.
* Ideally familiar with the further education and apprenticeship sector.
