Field Service Technician (Electrical, Microwave ovens + Catering Equipment)
Based in Cardiff, covering up to a 50-mile radius. £32k - £36k starting salary DOE + overtime and bonuses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join a specialist, niche company that will invest in your training and future development to ensure that you and the company stay at the forefront of their industry.
The successful applicant will be home-based and partly responsible for managing your own time and workload to ensure the best service is provided. The daily work allocation will ensure a varied experience as you will visit coffee chains, QSRs, and pubs/restaurants within the hospitality industry. All work is sent to you via your tablet or smartphone the evening before and will be used to capture all on-site details when attended.
Your responsibilities will include installation, servicing, and repair of industrial microwave ovens and catering equipment. Training is provided both on-site and at our client's dedicated training facility at their head office in Northamptonshire. Initially, you will be paired with an area manager to develop and settle into the role. Training will consist of 2 weeks at the head office, followed by 3 weeks with your Area Manager, alternating for up to 3 months, then you will work independently.
Once trained, our client will provide a company vehicle, the necessary tools, PPE, and workwear to carry out your duties.

The Person:
* Experience in electrical servicing, repairs, and installations, ideally with white domestic goods or industrial catering equipment
* Electrical/electronic knowledge
* Full UK driving license
* Troubleshooting skills with an aptitude for practical work
* Flexibility to work varied hours as required
* Good customer skills: polite and courteous
* Organized and thorough
* Flexible with a 'can-do' attitude
* Tech-savvy, comfortable using tablets and service management systems for real-time updates
