Key Account Sales Manager – Activated Carbon Products and Services

Salary up to £60k (Depending on experience) + bonus, car or car allowance + benefits

Location: United Kingdom, Home based

A Key Account Sales Manager is required at Carbon Activated Europe, part of the Carbon Activated Group, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of activated carbon products and services.

Due to growth in our European operations (Bristol UK, Dortmund Germany, and Gdansk Poland), we are expanding our European sales team by recruiting additional sales staff in the UK. You will have three to five years of activated carbon sales management experience in areas such as Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water Purification, and Wastewater Filtration. As a Key Account Sales Manager responsible for major account development across the UK and Europe, you will collaborate with regional sales teams and distribution networks. You should have a successful sales and marketing track record in activated carbon products and services, with the ability to grow accounts through personal sales drive, technical expertise, and partnerships.

Requirements:

* Currently working as a Key Account Sales Manager or similar role, seeking wider commercial responsibilities.
* Experience in sectors like Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water, Wastewater, and related fields.
* Ability to manage and grow existing accounts, develop new client relationships, and work with channel partners, agents, and distributors.
* Willingness to travel 25-50% across Europe for customer visits, trade shows, and training.
* Degree in Chemistry or a related Science, or equivalent industry experience with business qualifications.
* Strong people management skills to coach and develop external teams.
* Self-motivated, dynamic, data-driven, with excellent IT, organizational, and planning skills.
* Excellent communication skills to motivate, influence, and take ownership of tasks.
