Job Title: Temporary Receptionist

Hours: Thursday & Friday only

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join a large, well‑established business in Haydock. This is a temporary role covering sickness leave and will require reliable weekly availability on Thursday and Friday.
The role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meeting and greeting visitors in a friendly, professional manner
2. Issuing visitor badges and ensuring sign‑in procedures are followed
3. Answering incoming calls and transferring to the relevant departments
4. Handling general administrative tasks and data input
5. Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
6. Acting as the first point of contact for anyone entering the building
Requirements:
7. Previous reception or front‑of‑house experience (desirable)
8. Confident, polite and professional communication skills
9. Good IT and data entry skills
10. Reliable and able to commit to Thursday and Friday each week
11. Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
