Role Summary: We are looking for Subject Matter Experts with understanding of Health & Social Care qualification content and assessments that motivate our learners and ensure accurate graded achievement. Responsibilities/Typical Tasks * You would be asked to comment constructively on qualification proposals, units and assessments and offer resolutions to any issues that may arise. You will be asked to attend at least one quality assurance meeting, possibly online, on a convenient date. * Working alongside wider qualification development team including expert writers * Commenting on the appropriateness of sector/subject content within the qualification(s)/unit(s) * Contributing to scoping activities to determine the appropriateness of the proposed qualification(s) * Commenting on the validity of qualification subject/sector content and sample assessment materials for applied science. Experience and Qualifications Required Qualifications: Qualifications required to apply for your chosen role at Pearson will depend on the qualification you are delivering. Essential * Must have an understanding and experience of teaching and/or working within Health & Social Care. * Must have a good understanding of vocational learning and assessment in the sector.
