KONE is currently looking for an Escalator Engineer to join our Escalator Installation team in Keighley with projects nationwide.
Key accountabilities of the role:
* Responsible for the safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment following KONE installation methods.
* Reports installation progress to the installation supervisor.
* Receives, checks, and stores materials.
* Keeps installation tooling safe and in good condition; ensures the security of delivered equipment; maintains a safe working environment.
* Submits reports on timekeeping, quality feedback, and warranty claims for materials.
* Contributes to product improvement through feedback to the supply line.
* Manages on-site communication with customers for daily installation and logistical activities.
* Coordinates with builders to prevent installation interruptions.
* May be required to train or coach trainees and helpers as directed by the supervisor.
To qualify for this position, you should have:
* NVQ Level 3 qualification in escalators or mechanical engineering.
* Excellent health and safety knowledge.
* Good written and spoken English.
* A clean UK driving license (KONE provides a van).
