Position: Gymnastics Coach
Location: Bayford Primary School, Bayford
Hours: Mondays, 3:15pm – 4:15pm (1 hour per week, term-time only)
Pay: £25–£30 per session (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
Foundation Sports & Play are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Gymnastics Coach to deliver a fun, safe and engaging after-school gymnastics club for primary-aged children. The club runs every Monday during term time from 3:15–4:15pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver gymnastics sessions appropriate for primary school children (ages 5–11).
* Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all participants.
* Encourage the development of fundamental gymnastics skills, confidence and teamwork.
* Ensure high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management and health & safety.
* Set up and pack away equipment before and after the session.
* Communicate effectively with Foundation Sports & Play staff, school staff and parents as needed.
Requirements
* Recognised Gymnastics Coaching Qualification (British Gymnastics or equivalent).
* Experience coaching or teaching children in a school or club environment.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with children.
* Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
* First Aid and Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).
