Job Overview
The UK Collaborative on Development Research (UKCDR) is a team working with UK government departments and Wellcome to support global development through research and knowledge.
As a Research Data Analyst, you will support UKCDR’s efforts to promote coherence and collaboration in international development research, primarily through analysis projects. You will assist in delivering UKCDR’s policy and data projects, providing insights from quantitative and qualitative research activities aligned with UKCDR’s objectives of advancing global development.
Responsibilities
* Assist in managing UKCDR’s research and policy projects, providing research expertise.
* Support analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to deliver relevant insights on priority topics.
* Provide analytical support for publications, reports, and presentations, working closely with the Principal Data Analyst.
* Assist in maintaining and enhancing UKCDR’s data mapping tools, including MODARI.
* Contribute to research on international development policy trends.
About You
* A degree or equivalent experience in Development Studies, Public Policy, Data Science, or related fields.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Knowledge of qualitative research methods and data analysis.
* Experience with quantitative analysis and software such as Excel or Tableau.
* Excellent communication skills for presenting research data.
* Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple workstreams.
* Interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
