We are searching for a Senior Construction Supervisor to join our Buildings team based in Central London. You will effectively and professionally manage, monitor, and supervise the construction works at a prestigious central London commercial development, including management of relevant subcontract package, delivering in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and project specifications.
What you'll do:
1. Champion a strong site safety culture, ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with statutory requirements, standards, and company HSEQ policies
2. Coordinate trade contractors, ensuring works are delivered to drawings, specifications, and programme
3. Oversee subcontractors, labour, and materials, supporting Construction Managers with day-to-day site operations
4. Resolve site issues promptly, escalating defects and recommending innovative solutions and improved methods where appropriate
5. Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and project requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Construction-related qualification at HNC level, or equivalent
7. Experience supervising fit-out packages, including CAT A, suspended ceilings, raised access floors, joinery, decorations, and hard/soft flooring
8. Member of, or working towards membership of, a professional institution such as MCIOB or ICE
9. Holds a current CSCS Managers Card, with SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
10. Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor on similar projects, ideally with a tier 1 main contractor
