A leading national housebuilder is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a major new development in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong pipeline of future work across the region. The Role: As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the delivery of high-quality residential homes, ensuring health & safety standards are upheld, works are completed to programme, and quality is maintained throughout the build process. You’ll also liaise with subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and ensure a smooth progression of the development from start to finish. Responsibilities: * Supporting day-to-day site operations * Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations * Monitoring subcontractor performance and progress * Assisting with quality inspections and snagging * Communicating effectively with the project team and external stakeholders * Contributing to site reports, paperwork, and project documentation Requirements: * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates * Previous experience in a similar role with a residential developer * A strong understanding of the housebuilding process from groundworks through to handover * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative where needed Benefits: * Competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience * Company benefits package including car allowance, pension, and bonus scheme * Long-term career prospects with a major PLC builder * Supportive working environment with clear career progression opportunities This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to grow their career with a leading residential developer
