Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality home care services to clients in their own residences. The successful candidate will support individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance their overall wellbeing. Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
* Help with domestic chores including cooking, cleaning, and laundry as required
* Administer medication in accordance with care plans and protocols
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
* Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and care documentation
* Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care plans are followed
* Drive to clients' homes using own or company vehicle, adhering to road safety regulations
Experience
* Previous experience in a home care or care home setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
* Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
* Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties but not essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.30-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 14 per week
