Forklift Driver/ Van Driver up to 3.5 Tonne
Location: New Southgate, London (N11)
Area: Drivers
Salary: From £12.50 to £14 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver, who can also drive our 3.5 tonne van when required.
The hours for this role are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
* Loading and offloading trucks.
* Assisting with deliveries of goods and supplies.
* Picking and packing orders.
* Moving and storing goods correctly.
* Ensure stock is replenished and remerchandised.
* Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
* Providing high levels of customer service at all times.
* Carrying out multi drop deliveries to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
* Collection of materials.
* Assist with loading the vehicle.
* Unloading goods at the customers address.
* Vehicle walk around checks.
* Using app-based software to inform the customer of when the delivery is enroute.
* Collecting signatures on delivery and issuing invoices.
Forklift Driver Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of using a counter balance and reach truck.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised .
Van Driver Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Candidates must have a clean full UK driving licence.
* Candidates must have a strong knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
* Good communication and customer service skills are also required for this role.
