Main Duties Maintain and update knowledge of legal, policy, and procedural frameworks, demonstrating professional competence in line with the Code of Practice for Social Workers. Support individuals, families, carers, and communities to make informed decisions and contribute to service planning. Help service users enhance independence and coping skills. Assess needs, risks, and options in accordance with legislation, including Child Protection and safeguarding vulnerable adults. Collaborate with carers to identify and meet their support needs. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of interventions using supervision and managerial guidance. Participate in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency work, contributing to policy development and best practices. Attend supervision, appraisal, and team meetings, offering solutions to challenges. Promote resilience and independence for individuals facing significant life challenges. Ensure compliance with statutory guidance and procedural frameworks. Work collaboratively with statutory and independent sector partners to deliver coordinated, person-centred support. Requirements Recognised Social Work qualification or equivalent.
