Lead the UK & Ireland Value and Access strategy for Almirall’s dermatology portfolio, ensuring priorities are evidence-based, aligned with affiliate and global objectives, and focused on improving patient access and uptake. Maintain strategic responsibility for national access across the UK, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, ensuring readiness for future pipeline launches, new indications and inorganic growth opportunities, while the immediate focus of the role is to strengthen regional access execution and local implementation. Translate clinical, economic and service value into practical access outcomes, adapting Almirall’s value story for NHS, HSE and account-level stakeholders, including payers, formulary decision-makers, medicines management teams, service leads and clinicians. Use data, analytics, RWE, HEOR and customer insight to identify opportunities, risks and barriers, distilling findings into clear priorities, recommendations and action plans that improve formulary positioning, pathway inclusion, guideline adoption and local implementation. Lead UK & Ireland RWE and HEOR priorities in close collaboration with Global Market Access, ensuring evidence generation supports access strategy, value communication, payer engagement, national readiness and future launch planning. Drive execution through priority account and system-level plans, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes across ICSs, Health Boards, Trusts, dermatology networks and other key decision-making bodies. Lead the development of value-added and beyond-the-pill solutions, including patient support programmes, homecare models, Joint Working Initiatives and service-based initiatives that address unmet patient, customer and system needs. Build and manage strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Sales, KOLs, NHS/HSE organisations, technology providers and third parties, to shape, pilot and scale impactful initiatives. Ensure robust business cases, governance and performance monitoring, including clear rationale, investment needs, expected impact, success measures, compliance oversight and decisions on continuation, scale-up or adaptation. Contribute to UK & Ireland affiliate leadership, shaping portfolio priorities, launch readiness, long-term value strategy and the overall direction of the business. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree in business administration, economics, finance, life sciences, health economics, public health or a related scientific/commercial field. Advanced degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable. Significant pharmaceutical industry experience in Value, Market Access, HEOR, RWE and/or related commercial leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering access outcomes and business impact. Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland healthcare systems, including NHS England, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland, regional and local decision-making, formulary processes, pathway implementation and payer/customer dynamics. Experience in both national and regional/subnational access, with strong capability in regional implementation and readiness to lead future national access requirements linked to pipeline, new indication and inorganic growth opportunities. Proven ability to use data, analytics, HEOR, RWE and customer insight to generate relevant analyses, distil actionable insights and translate these into clear priorities, account plans and measurable outcomes. Experience developing value propositions, payer materials, health economic arguments and evidence generation plans, ideally in close collaboration with Global Market Access and cross-functional teams. The Director, Value & Access, UK & Ireland is a member of the UK & Ireland Leadership Team and is accountable for leading the affiliate’s Value and Access strategy across Almirall’s dermatology portfolio. The Director provides clear leadership, coaching and direction to the Value & Access team, including 3 field-based Integrated Healthcare Managers, the Service Development Manager and the V&A Manager, enabling the team to deliver measurable access, value and service outcomes across priority accounts and systems. The role focuses on improving patient access and uptake by translating clinical, economic and service value into evidence-based national and regional priorities, with an immediate emphasis on regional access execution and local implementation. The Director will use data, HEOR, RWE and customer insights to shape action plans, guide decision-making and support future national access readiness across the UK, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
