Desktop Support Engineer – 5 days onsite London – Tuesdays to Saturdays
Role: Permanent
Location: London (Bond Street Station)
Work pattern: 5 days on site (Tuesdays to Saturdays)
Travel: International travel required
Pay: £45-50K salary
The Technology Support Engineer is a member of the Information Technology Department who is responsible for the day-to-day support of all systems and infrastructure used by our end users. The ideal candidate will have a bright personality, and an exceptional customer service mindset.
Responsibilities:
* Resolves hardware and connectivity problems as they arise, escalating issues within the team when appropriate
* Configures, deploys and supports physical and virtual computers and network equipment
* Assist in planning projects and participate in managing small initiatives
* Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, support team change/maintenance windows for infrastructure systems
* Performs routine software upgrades on network infrastructure to patch vulnerabilities
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* Monitors, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolve infrastructure issues
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience with AWS, and Azure
* Basic knowledge of network infrastructure protocols; switches, routers, AD
* Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT / organization
* Exceptional customer service mindset
* Wear multiple hats and be willing to go the extra mile
