Course designers at Boeing play a vital role in providing mission-critical solutions to the Defence and Security sector. As part of the E-7 Training Team at RAF Lossiemouth, you will lead the successful implementation and through-life maintenance of a significant project, crucial to our company, defence, and customer security. The role:
Reporting to the E-7 Training Delivery Manager, the E-7 Aircrew Course Design Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, delivering, and assuring course material, specifically:
The design and maintenance of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) aligned aircrew training courseware and materials for the UK E-7 fleet, including:
* Aircrew training (E-7 Mission Crew and Pilots), covering theory and practical elements of Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) (classroom, synthetic, and aircraft on ground events) to Limited Combat Ready (LCR) standard.
* Training for the 4th Target Audience, including familiarization training.
* Other training as directed by the Authority.
* Analyzing the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training projects and curricula, and assisting in evaluating new strategies, methods, technologies, and tools related to course design, development, and delivery.
Preferred background and experience:
* Experience in producing UK military training, especially in course design and delivery of aircrew training.
* Experience with UK Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and/or Command and Control (C2) platforms.
* Strong knowledge of course design methods and experience in developing instructor-led courseware.
* Experience operating within the guidance of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Joint Service Publication (JSP) 822.
This role is based at RAF Lossiemouth; remote working is not available.
