This will be an exciting opportunity for the candidate to work within the 0-19 UCS with experience of Infant Feeding, be able to lead on training and supporting the BFI Lead in obtaining accredition for UNICEF Breast feeding, leading on Feeding sessions,.
Main duties of the job
To be part of the Health Improvement Team
To support the Leading role of the Train the trainer
Support with leading in Management Supervision of staff
Recording keeping monitoring of the team
Effective Communication with staff, clients, and service partners
To contribute and shape the development of awareness of breastfeeding, specific programmes and interventions across Redbridge working in partnership with key professionals, team leaders and local authority partners.
To provide breastfeeding skills and knowledge to a range of professionals, community and voluntary sector groups and members of deprived communities and vulnerable people

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To work as a member of the 0-19 team.To contribute to ongoing BFI standards audit, NCMP, clinical audit and other governance programmes in relation to activities.To support members of the 0-19 team to deliver healthy lifestyle advice.Responsible for day to day project management re: targeted breastfeeding programme delivery, weight management programmes and meeting of agreed outcomes, in conjunction with the leads organisation, recruitment and delivery of required training and support.
To be responsible for identifying issues of concerns to line manager in order for appropriate action to be taken.
Line manages junior members of the team, ensuring monthly 121’s and annual appraisals are completed in line with NELFT policies.
