Learning Opportunities
The role involves monitoring and responding to security alerts, analyzing data from incident response investigations, and supporting breach investigations.
Responsibilities
* Monitoring and responding to alerts
* Escalating alerts as necessary
* Proposing tuning requests
* Producing reports
* Staying updated on threats and vulnerabilities
* Mentoring colleagues
Required Skills and Experience
* 1-2 years in a similar role (desirable)
* Understanding of networks, operating systems, security technologies
* Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and management
* Experience with security tools like firewalls, intrusion prevention, antivirus
* Relevant training or certifications
Preferred Skills
* Basic cybersecurity principles
* Knowledge of attack vectors and malware
* Security tools awareness
* Incident response understanding
* Networking fundamentals
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
