About the Role & the Team
Are you a reliable and committed Internal Sales Advisor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment? If so, we would love to receive your application to join the Heras family.
This role will provide an opportunity to complete operational day-to-day tasks in the material supply Internal Sales department, and increase turnover and maximise profit. The role also includes meeting several KPI’s including but not exclusive to – improving personal conversion rate, helping the team hit revenue and gross margin targets, and customer service goals. The team is also responsible for lead generation and supporting the business achieve strategic goals with work including project databases, finding project leads and distributing them into the business.
This role is mainly office based but may require occasional travel to visit customers or to other Heras sites. The office environment is a large open plan space and as such you and the team will be expected to work alongside other departments and to maintain an acceptable professional level of behaviour.
Role Overview
* Producing quotations in line with customer requirements
* Arranging quote follow-ups and other proactive tasks
* Accurately processing orders
* General account management
* Receiving inbound and making outbound calls
* Receiving complaints and processing them through the internal system
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out
About You
* Ownership: You look after tasks, queries, and problems and take responsibility from start to finish, ensuring a great service
* Resilience: You are able to recover from setbacks quickly, and are able to thrive within a fast paced, busy environment
* GCSE’s qualifications in Maths and English
* Good working level of ICT skills on applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
* High level of attention to detail
* Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
* Positive work ethic
* Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and our customers
* Reliable team player
* Experience of working within a similar role
* Experience in achieving targets
* Wealth of experience using ERP systems
* Experience within the construction or engineering industry
* Experience in using Navision
* Degree or business qualification
