The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering Ocean’s home ownership and asset disposal programmes. You’ll be responsible for:
* Managing shared ownership sales (new builds, resales, staircasing)
* Administering Right to Buy/Acquire applications
* Supporting the disposal of existing assets
* Liaising with customers, solicitors, surveyors, and internal teams
* Promoting and attending open days and launch events
* Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be helping people take their first steps onto the property ladder while also supporting the strategic goals of the organisation.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Customer-focusedwith excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
* Experiencedin social housing, residential sales, or a similar environment
* Knowledgeableabout shared ownership, Right to Buy/Acquire, and asset disposals
* Confidentin working independently and making informed decisions
You’ll also need tohave the ability to travel across Cornwall. The role may come with the occasional weekend work if/when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience in social housing
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Ability to analyse data and meet targets
* CIH or housing-related qualification
* Sales/marketing experience
* Experience of asset sales within a social housing environment
