In this role you will add value to PXP by:
Installing PXP products on site and overseeing and arranging all aspects of outsourced installations on merchant premises.
A typical week as an Field Service Engineer might involve:
* Traveling to various merchant premises to install PXP products
* Coordinating with outsourced installation teams to ensure timely and accurate installations
* Conducting site surveys and assessments prior to installations
* Providing technical support and training to merchants on PXP products
* Ensuring all installations meet quality standards
* Documenting installation processes and maintaining accurate records
* Manage and maintain the stock level at our partner's for distribution.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience in field service engineering or a related technical role
* Possesses strong technical and troubleshooting skills
* Is able to work independently and manage multiple installation projects
* Has excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
* Is willing to travel frequently to various merchant premises
* Holds a valid driver's license.
We would love someone to have any of the following:
* Experience with payment processing systems or similar technology
* Certifications in relevant technical fields
* Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in installation environments
* Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
