Essential Duties And Responsibilities
* Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area
* Works on small projects or portions of larger projects
* Performs moderate design tasks
* Prepares portions of project documents
* Edits specifications
* Performs research and investigations
* Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements
* Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features
* Possesses effective oral and written communication skills
* Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings
* Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments

* Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
* None
* Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with entry‑level engineers, technicians, or administrative staff
* Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
Requirements And Preferred Skills
* 2-4 years of experience
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. Master’s degree in engineering is preferred
* Must have relevant experience in R&D or production engineering support
* Strong technical and analytical skills in maths and science with attention to detail and accuracy
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent time management and project management
* Experience with Microsoft applications
* Experience with Autodesk Inventor
* Experience with FEA preferred
* DFSS skills including Design of experiments (DOE), DFMEA, PFMEA preferred
