Role Purpose
As an Assistant Accountant, you will assist the Management Accountant in the production of accounts.
Your key responsibilities as our Assistant Accountant will include:
Keeping and reconciling cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register.
Maintaining up-to-date reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts.
Assisting the Management Accountant in the production & maintenance of the accounts.
Ensuring that the company procedures are followed by staff and suppliers and that continuing improvements are made.
Assisting with the audit process.
Raising payments on our banking software for approval.
Performing other tasks which may be required to be undertaken by the Finance department.
Experience Required
AAT Level 4 or qualified by experience
Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including vlookups & pivot tables)
