People Operations Coordinator (Talent Acquisition/ Internal Recruitment) This role is focused on talent acquisition, with the goal of finding, attracting, securing, and retaining top talent in the market. As a brand ambassador for the college, you'll play a key role in enhancing our recruitment process by adding a personal, human touch. We're looking for someone articulate and engaging, ideally with a background in sales or recruitment, who can confidently represent the college's values and culture. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and eager to gain a deep understanding of our operations. Main Tasks: The role involves working within the People Operations team in a proactive recruitment capacity, focusing on sourcing top talent for internal positions across the college. This is initially a fixed-term contract lasting 6 to 12 months, with the potential for permanency if the candidate exceeds expectations. Responsibilities: Actively source new talent for the college by engaging in proactive recruitment efforts and collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand and address the college's most pressing staffing needs. Serve as a brand advocate for the college by reaching out to prospective candidates over the phone, participating in college events, and attending relevant local job fairs to promote available opportunities and showcase the college's full range of offerings. Support the effective use of our Talent ATS, Talos360, by ensuring recruitment processes are properly followed and maintaining high standards of data quality. To identify and contact potential candidates, generating excitement about the college and its offerings. In some cases, this will involve highlighting the benefits of transitioning from industry to teaching and promoting the qualifications the college provides to support this shift. Working closely with the People Operations Manager, taking responsibility for the delivery of specific recruitment projects in line with the People Operations Action Plan and strategy. During periods of high workload or staff absence, to assist and/or cover for colleagues as appropriate to ensure that team deadlines are met. Work with others within the team to ensure quality is delivered throughout all processes. Assist with chasing staff with regards to documents, qualifications etc. ensuring all data is up to date and GDPR compliant. To develop and update personal professional development in the relevant areas.
