Salary: £44,159 (with 31 days annual leave & pension)
Contract: Full-Time Permanent, 5 days out of 7
Overview
As the EHS & Operations Manager within the store, you will establish a secure environment for customers and colleagues, supporting Primark's people‑first culture of safety.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain and monitor fire safety, asbestos management, and water system maintenance.
* Conduct regular EHS audits – investigate and elevate issues as required.
* Review any accidents and implement any preventative measures.
* Manage relationships with security and third‑party contractors.
* Implement environmental initiatives within the store on energy management, waste management and chemical management.
* Lead a small team and collaborate with the store management team to drive operational excellence.
* Create a culture of “Safe Today, Safe Tomorrow” by implementing all EHS policies through effective coaching and proactive hazard mitigation.
* Drive your own development by taking advantage of digital learning, apprenticeships and career pathways.
What You’ll Bring
* At least 3 years of operations management experience.
* Relevant EHS qualifications such as NEBOSH, or willingness to obtain them.
* Strong eye for detail and ability to spot potential hazards before they arise.
* Excellent influencing and communication skills to challenge, engage and inspire at all levels.
