Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias – HVAC Background)
Location: Newmarket / Cambridge
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong mechanical background (HVAC bias) to join a leading building services and facilities maintenance team covering commercial sites in the Newmarket and Cambridge area.
This is a hands-on role working across planned and reactive maintenance, focusing on HVAC systems and supporting general building services as required.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors.

Diagnose and repair faults across a range of mechanical and basic electrical systems.

Support minor installation and upgrade works as required.
*
Ensure all maintenance is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health & safety procedures.
*
Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
*
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
