Management Accountant

Monday – Friday – 9am – 5pm
Salary – Up to £30,000 (D.O.E.)
Our client, based in Corwen, Denbighshire, is looking for a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The role will report into the Financial Controller. As Management Accountant you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support the Financial Controller with strategic decision-making.
Duties will include:
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with budgets and forecasts.
* Purchase ledger.
* Cashbook.
* Sales ledger.
* Stock monitoring.
* Intercompany stock transfers.
* Monthly management accounts.
Skills and Experience
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or AAT qualification is advantageous but not essential. You will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices with excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
