What You’ll Need Essential: - Strong experience in an HR Advisory role across all HR areas, with a focus on Employee Relations. - Excellent coaching ability for advising on employee relations issues. - Experience managing a high-volume caseload of employment queries and working to Service Level Agreements. - Experience supporting investigation and disciplinary meetings, note-taking, and drafting documentation. - Advantageous experience in supporting TUPE transfers and integrating acquisitions. - Strong understanding of employment legislation, confidentiality, and Data Protection. - Proficient in MS Office. - Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: - CIPD Level 3. - Experience in the Childcare sector and with multi-site businesses is advantageous but not essential. - Experience in Payroll processing and exceptions management is advantageous but not essential. What You’ll Be Doing Employee Relations: - Act as the first point of contact for employee relations queries and daily HR support. - Provide timely support and coach line managers on HR practices, processes, and policies in alignment with HR guidelines. - Manage grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, and absence management, updating Spark accordingly. Ongoing Support: - Assist with completing monthly Payroll and responding to payroll queries. - Support Nursery Managers with contract changes, flexible working requests, and maternity leave. - Monitor exit interviews to identify patterns and suggest changes to reduce turnover. Ad Hoc Duties : - Support employee engagement initiatives to boost engagement levels and reduce staff turnover. - Assist HR Business Partner in implementing actions for change, including restructuring and policy harmonisation. - Occasional travel to nurseries for onsite support. - Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
