Hays are working with a public sector organisation that is seeking a proactive and compassionate Health & Wellbeing Advisor to support employee wellbeing and engagement. This role involves advising managers on best practices in employee support, managing sickness absence processes, and promoting a positive workplace culture through health and wellbeing initiatives.
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Provide expert advice on employee relations, absence management, and performance issues.
Develop and deliver health and wellbeing policies, procedures, and training.
Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and manage related data and reporting.
Lead wellbeing initiatives and contribute to employee engagement strategies.
Support HR systems implementation and performance monitoring.
Supervise HR staff and participate in recruitment and change management activities.
Strong HR advisory experience, particularly in wellbeing and absence management.
Skilled in data analysis and reporting using HR systems.
Third level qualification or equivalent AND a minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources, OR a minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources
73 per hour
~Temporary contract until at least 31st August 2025
