The Role:
This is a hands-on position for an experiencedCNC Milling Machinistresponsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery. Youll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, improving processes, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines (including Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i)
* Ensure machines are set accurately right first time
* Carry out self-inspection to maintain quality standards
* Work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Identify and implement improvements to machining processes
* Support and mentor apprentices where required
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
* Undertake additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience
Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven experience in CNC machining (milling)
* Ability to programme usingFanuc controls
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
* Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards
* Good communication skills and timekeeping
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Desirable:
* Experience working with 5S methodology
* Previous mentoring or xxuwjjq support of apprentices
