What the Job Involves As a Social Worker in the Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for working with adults who have profound and multiple learning disabilities, learning disabilities, and autism. Your duties will include performing statutory social work tasks such as assessments, reviews, care and support planning, and safeguarding adults work. You will work within the Transforming Care Team to create integrated care pathways with health colleagues, striving for multidisciplinary services that prioritize individual needs. You will also engage in ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities and contribute to building stronger communities within Lambeth. Skills Two years post-qualification experience with adults with mental health, learning disability, and/or autism Understanding of Mental Capacity Act and Best Interests principles Experience with Court of Protection applications and deprivation of liberty work Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to diversity and inclusion Ability to use technology to work agilely and efficiently
