What you’ll be doing

1. Accountable for delivering and shaping Recoveries Strategy across CFUs to enable the achievement of the Credit Risk goals
2. Accountable for ensuring accurate Short term forecasting models are developed and maintained to ensure ability to plan to meet Credit Risk targets.
3. Responsible for identifying, getting buy in and delivering initiatives to achieve Bad Debt & Compulsory Churn targets
4. Own and set Recoveries Policy to be delivered by Implementation team and consistently executed by Collections operations.
5. Lead a team of Credit Risk specialists to achieve Credit Risk targets
6. Manage external relationships with several suppliers delivering Recoveries for BT/EE
7. Develop & maintain highly effective relationships with key strategic stakeholders up to director level
8. Build and deliver against challenging financial targets
9. Ownership of debt recovery through to end of life legal and debt sale processes
The skills and experience you’ll need
10. Story-telling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences
11. Business acumen: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases)
12. Supplier Management: Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships with a small number of external Debt Collections agencies and debt purchasers to ensure results for BT support Credit Risk targets.
13. Experience in Credit Risk within a high volume consumer environment
14. Experience in designing and evaluating highly effective Recoveries strategies.
15. Experience in maintaining commercial relationships with external partners.
