The Opportunity
Long Term Futures is supporting a secondary school in Birmingham that is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their department as soon as possible. The role has become available following the retirement of the previous post-holder, and the school is keen to appoint someone promptly to provide continuity for pupils.
You'll be joining a small, supportive department, stepping into a well-established curriculum with clear expectations and strong support in place.
The Role
Teaching KS3 Food Technology only
4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)
Approximately 11-12 lessons per week
Lessons are 1 hour 15 minutes in duration
Deliver both practical and theory-based lessons
Work within a department of two Food Technology teachers
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
Confidence managing practical lessons and classroom routines
Ability to start as soon as possible
