A successful firm in modern offices in Derby are seeking to recruit into a key payroll position, which also involves aspects of bookkeeping. You will be the main point of contact for all payrolls, with assistance from members of the accountancy team. They are open on the level of hire, so anyone from Semi Senior up to Senior/Manager level is encouraged to apply.\n\nThe firm are located within a commutable distance from Derby, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, and Little Eaton.\n\nMain Duties include: \n\nPayroll:\n\nProcessing weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly payrolls.
Liaising with HMRC.\nDealing with client queries via telephone and emails, P11Ds\nPension Enrolment\nCalculating statutory payments\nSetting up new clients on Sage 50 Payroll \n\nBookkeeping:\n\nBookkeeping – Sales and Purchase ledger postings, Bank receipts and Payments, Bank Reconciliations\nDealing with Cash payments/Receipts\nDealing with Credit Card account postings and reconciliations.\nPosting of wages journals\nDealing with other general journals and transfers\nUsings QuickBooks, Xero and Sage Software\nPreparing VAT Returns \n\nBenefits:\n\nPaid overtime, TOIL and Flexitime available\nCompany Pension\nParking may be available on-site or we operate a Spare Space Group Policy.\nOpportunities for development
