Continental Shift pattern – £40,000 to £45,000 + overtime
Our client currently has a role available for a shift tech working continental shift pattern. They are one of the UK's largest facilities management companies and this vacancy falls within the critical services data centre department.
Included with this position are 20 shift days holiday pa, sick pay, guaranteed overtime, job training, HV AP training.
Data centre experience is not a pre‑requisite for the role due to training available; however, if the applicant has critical environment experience that would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be exposed regularly to ongoing site maintenance of UPS systems, static switch units, generators, chillers (switching as initially a CP then once approved as an AP), maintenance and fault‑finding on CRAC units, and monitoring BMS and PMS systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to get into the Critical Environment engineering and improve skill set.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical bias. Our client will offer training and opportunities to progress. If successful, you will be given the opportunity to be the site AP and complete the AP15 HVAP course.
