Salary: Grade G - £35,235 - £37,938 per annum
About the Role
As an experienced Joiner, you will contribute to providing good quality rented housing, achieving high tenant satisfaction, improving landlord-tenant relationships, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
One role involves joining our Windows, Doors, and Glazing team, primarily installing PVCu windows, composite doors, and re-glazing external doors and windows. A fenestration NVQ or MTC card is preferred but not essential.
Two other joinery roles will work on our voids team, handling tasks such as roof structures, staircases, balustrades, skirtings, architraves, flooring, kitchen units, and fencing, maintaining the structural and aesthetic integrity of properties. You may also undertake related tasks like bricklaying or plaster patching to facilitate repairs.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience in all aspects of joinery and carpentry, capable of completing associated tasks like plaster patching, painting, and ironmongery.
2. NVQ3 or C&G Advanced Craft qualification as a Joiner.
3. Full and valid driving license.
4. Experience communicating with customers with diverse needs.
5. Experience diagnosing faults and implementing solutions.
6. Organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks and prioritization.
