This is a key position responsible for managing outstanding receivables and maintaining strong, consistent cash flow across the business. This hybrid role requires two days in the office and three days working from home each week. The salary for this position is £27,000 - £29,000 per annum.
Overview of the Role
The Credit Controller will be responsible for the efficient collection of outstanding balances, maintaining positive client relationships, and supporting financial operations through accurate and timely credit control practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively follow up on overdue accounts via telephone and email.
* Process credit card payments and maintain accurate records of communications.
* Raise credit notes, write-offs, and refunds as required.
* Set up new customer accounts in line with internal procedures.
* Review and adjust credit limits based on risk and payment history.
* Promote direct debit sign-ups and encourage digital billing.
* Meet and exceed collection targets and performance KPIs.
