New Directions are currently recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to work in a supportive and well-regarded primary school in the M40 area. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, running until the end of the school year, with the potential to move onto a school contract for the right candidate.

The Role:
5. Full-time Year 5 class teacher role with full teaching responsibilities.
6. Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
7. Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities.
8. Establish a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour.
9. Work closely with support staff, SEN teams, and senior leaders to ensure all pupils are supported effectively.
The Candidate:
10. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
11. Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5, though ECTs are welcome to apply.
12. Demonstrates strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies.
13. Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to raising attainment.
14. Builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
