Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Stock Office Administrator to join their busy warehouse and logistics operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and liaising with both internal teams and external customers.
Due to the location of the role, own transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and transport providers.
- Accurately enter orders and receipts onto the Warehouse Management System (WMS), reporting any discrepancies as required.
- Ensure all customer requirements and service levels are met.
- Liaise with transport customers regarding stock movements and any logistics‑related queries.
- Coordinate with the loading bay team to effectively manage booking schedules and operational requirements.
- Confirm stock movements through the Warehouse Management System and ensure all relevant paperwork is prepared and issued correctly to drivers.
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the Stock Office and warehouse administration functions.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced operational environment.
