About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Compliance Advisor to join our team in Christchurch.
The role is responsible for ensuring that the processes and systems utilised across the Christchurch Maintenance Contracts and within the maintenance and construction teams are compliant with all legislation and regulations.
This may include:
* Maintaining an updated register of all resource consents, standards, and legislation impacting on the Maintenance Contract Operations Team: e.g., discharges to land, air and water, water extractions and works in waterways.
* Maintaining staff qualification, competency and training records, proactively working with operational managers to address upcoming expiry dates, so that business delivery is not impacted.
* Maintaining E-Road system users and vehicle assignments to ensure driver records are correct
* Monitoring fuel use and efficiency reporting, alerting managers to inconsistencies and irregularities.
* Monitoring Fleet reports to ensure that WOF/COF requirements are current.
* Providing professional advice and quality support in the preparation of non-financial reports to management for your assigned activities.
* Managing and maintaining oversight of internal and external audits, raise SFIs as required and follow these through to completion, assisting assigned managers as necessary.
What you’ll need:
* Minimum of 4 Years experience in a compliance or process support management role. Contracting industry experience is advantageous.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Resource Management, or sampling and testing, or any other relevant work experience.
* Strong IT and computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products.
* Strong communication and learning skills, and proven ability to come up to speed with database and information management systems.
* Passionate advocate for the value of Quality Management and Business Excellence processes.
