Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Production Manager (Full-time) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of live events, ensuring all technical aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
This role demands expertise in audio systems, LED wall installation, event lighting installation, projector installation, rigging, low-voltage LED knowledge, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Planning and Execution
* Design, plan, and execute technical requirements as well as manage logistics for your event.
* Plan all technical and logistical aspects of events.
* Create Technical Drawings.
* Book relevant technical expertise to suit budgets and requirements.
* Oversee the design, setup, and operation of audio systems, ensuring optimal sound quality for each event.
* Manage the installation and configuration of LED walls, LED lighting systems, and projectors, tailoring setups to event-specific requirements.
* Devise and supervise rigging operations, ensuring all systems comply with industry standards.
* Interpret and produce technical drawings for event layouts, rigging points, and equipment placements.
* Lead and coordinate technical teams.
* Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
* Engage with clients to understand their vision and technical requirements.
* Provide expert advice on technical solutions to enhance the event experience.
Budget and Resource Management
* Develop and manage budgets for technical aspects of events.
* Coordinate the procurement and maintenance of technical equipment.
Safety and Compliance
* Ensure all technical operations comply with health and safety regulations.
* Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in Technical Production Management within the live events industry.
* Ability to interpret and create accurate technical drawings and rigging plots.
* In-depth knowledge of current technologies and equipment used in live event production.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:
* Certifications in rigging, health and safety, or specific technical areas.
* Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vectorworks).
* Familiarity with the latest advancements in event technology.
* Exposure to scenic built/interrogation of technical elements into bespoke build elements.
