Project Worker – Community Engagement
At Pobl Group, we are recruiting a full‑time, temporary Community Engagement Project Worker to join our preventative hubs service in Carmarthenshire. The hubs are located in Llanelli, Amman and Gwendreath and deliver preventative and solution‑based community support.
Essential requirements include access to a car, a full driver’s licence, and willingness to transport customers in their own vehicle.
What is great about the role?
You will play a key part in delivering the preventative hubs in Llanelli, Amman and Gwendreath. These hubs provide preventative and solution‑based community support to help customers improve and maintain their health, well‑being and independence through social integration and strong community relationships.
As part of the lead team, you will deliver the single point of contact from which customers can access information, opportunities and support that is visible, accessible and available.
You will work closely with your team and partner organisations to deliver this service, receive referrals, provide information, hold wellbeing conversations, deliver community engagement campaigns and develop community support networks.
Skills and experience required
* Build rapport and experience working with vulnerable people or in community development.
* Plan, deliver, review and monitor a holistic package of support and assess customer needs, assess risk and propose risk management strategies.
* High standard of IT literacy and willingness to engage in further learning.
Pobl Benefits
* Full‑time (37hrs), fixed term until 30th June 2026
* Salary £28,041.00 FTE
* Work pattern Monday – Friday, flexibility required
* 26 days holiday pro‑rata plus bank holidays; rising to 27 days after 1 year service or cash equivalent of 1 day’s annual leave

* Mileage paid at 45p per mile
